Tuesday, March 30, 2010: Los Angles – San Diego
Had arranged for early pickup by Cruise America and got to the station at 10:00 – being the first customers. Got a 2009 model RV, self-served our convenience packs including extra dishes, plaids, and chemicals.
Invaded WalMart, stowed all stuff, and headed south to Chula Vista. TomTom was quite helpful, but finally stopped us 1 mile away from KOA San Diego. Asking a guy on the street finally got us to the campground.
It poured like hell all night and we thought we have to swim the rest of our trip!
