Ohhh the pain. We went to watch the final launch of STS-133, Space Shuttle Discovery. It was supposed to launch on Monday. Then Tuesday. Delayed till Wednesday, Scrubbed on Thursday and rescheduled for Friday. Friday was our last chance since we were flying out Saturday morning. Well, Murphy has his say and they ended up shelving the launch for 3+ more weeks. Did I say pain? Ohhh.
But, we still took a tour of Kennedy Space Center and even took a few photos of Discover sitting out on the launch pad. View the photos below.
